Our client needed to transform the way they worked and put in place a new operating model in response to the continued reduction in central government funding; rising demand for its key services, specifically in social care; an increase in resident expectations around customer services in a digital age; and a desire to grow resilience and independence in communities.

Our approach was fully collaborative, working with the leadership team to develop a vision to become a world-class organisation. With an embedded team, we implemented a partnering approach across each workstream, ensuring the programme was client-led and maximising opportunities for knowledge transfer.

We worked with our client to deliver a full-council operating model design and implementation; a full-council OD model and restructure; implementation of Office 365 and rollout of new hardware to support flexible working; development and implementation of a locality hub model; and development of a 20-year partnership vision with place leaders.
