We’re a consultancy with limitless possibilities. There’s no barrier to your ambition. To what you can achieve. Or to being yourself, as you collaborate with brilliant colleagues. There’s no hiding either: from doing the right thing for clients, society, and for you.
Hailed by The Sunday Times as the 20th best mid-sized UK company to work for 2023, we’ve built a business that makes it easy to be your best.
That means less bureaucracy. A flat management structure. An interest in who you are as well as what you can do. Plus, all the support you need to influence, learn, progress and make the most of your many talents.
There are interesting and influential projects, clients and partners. Our solutions are innovative and compelling. We’re agile and entrepreneurial too. A challenger consultancy that loves doing things smarter.
We’re also part of Havas, one of the world’s largest communications groups, and embrace creativity and invention in everything we do.
But for us, the most important aspect of our culture is our engaging, collaborative nature. Gate One is a product of everyone who works here.
Which is why we all share in each other’s success.
GROWING
You’ll never have to look far to learn. Whether you want to specialise or broaden your expertise, you can expand your knowledge here. From professional exams to internal courses on customer experience, design thinking and sustainability; our own ChAgile methodology to soft skills like business development and communication – we help you broaden and build your capabilities.
Then there’s our coaching programme: mixed-grade 1:1 sessions that support your development and help you create a roadmap to achieving your ambitions. And a leadership programme based on face-to-face workshops with business experts from Cambridge University. That’s in addition to our Havas University e-Learning platform, and regular ‘Lunch & Learn’ events.
”I wanted an environment where I could be myself, I could find challenges, I could try new things.

”The 2023 summer Gateaway was an incredible experience. It was such a great opportunity to connect with people and go on an adventure both as an organisation and individually.

GATEAWAYS
Our quarterly Gateaways see everyone come together to celebrate successes and work on our business plan. There are workshops and brainstorms, plus personal development and wellbeing sessions. It’s also a great opportunity to connect and reconnect with colleagues.
They’re a lot of fun too. Your first couple of events will be the perfect opportunity to get to know your colleagues, and once a year we bring the whole global company together for our summer Gateaway.
INCUBATOR
We created the Incubator programme as a space for anyone who wants to grow and develop as a real-life entrepreneur. It’s a chance to develop your own start-up and win strategic and financial support from the business.
The experience of creating, experimenting and – crucially – owning a business enhances our team’s ability to identify opportunities for clients. The Incubator team behind Plant Pops was also listed as one of the ’15 Food Entrepreneurs to watch in 2021’ by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
”Entrepreneurial spirit is woven into the fabric of the organisation. Everyone, whatever their grade, is encouraged to help grow the business. And our sales bonuses reward new and existing client account growth.

CENTRAL LOCATIONS
We’re really lucky to have some inspirational workspaces – in terms of the resources on hand, and neighbourhoods that excite us.
In London, our collaborative space in Havas Village London means we have a wealth of creative partners one flight of steps away, not to mention perks like free breakfasts, subsidised lunches, Thursday bar nights and convenient showers and bike racks. All in one of the city’s most diverse and vibrant business districts.
In New York, we’ve two collaborative addresses – both with great wellbeing features, including rooftop workspaces. 200 Madison Ave sits next to the Empire State Building and is a five-minute walk to Bryant Park. 200 Hudson Street is in the heart of trendy Tribeca.
In Dublin, our shared Havas space sits between the cosmopolitan city-suburb of Portobello – known for brunching by the canal – and lively Temple Bar, home to cobbled streets and live music.
In Paris, we work out of the Havas office in Puteax – alongside leading creative partners and with all kinds of wellbeing features and inspirational events close-to-hand.
SUPPORT FROM ALL ANGLES
When it comes to growing and progressing, every base is covered.
A ‘buddy’ will guide you through your first 90 days. We’ll also assign you a Performance and Development Lead – a senior colleague who’ll help you set out six-month roadmaps that accelerate your progression.
You can choose to take part in our coaching programme too. We match experienced hands with more junior colleagues, who complete a series of one-to-one sessions targeting specific topics. These could be technical and soft skills, or wider career ambitions.
There’s a forum to voice your own ideas and opinions in monthly feedback sessions with representatives from our Employee Engagement Network – as well as through our internal employee communications platform, Workvivo.
”In terms of your personal success, there’s such a great support system here. Anyone will help you out. No one’s out for themselves.

”You can be your fun, authentic self. It’s an engaged and inclusive community.

INSPIRATIONALLY DIVERSE
We don’t just acknowledge the fact we’re all different. We celebrate it company-wide, particularly through our ‘Communities of Interest’ groups, which lead internal projects tied to Pride, Gender Equity, Race and Culture and Disability and Neurodiversity.
Examples include coaching sessions on Allyship, our Black History Month podcast series, an annual Autism Month awareness campaign, DEI dinners, and regular keynote talks on topics like transgender and mental health in the LGBTQIA+ community.
We have ambitious targets too. We want women to hold 50% of our senior roles by 2025. And we’ve also set the same deadline to have 25% of our colleagues come from a minority racial background and 10% of senior management.
