We are honoured to announce that Gate One has won the MCA 2019 Strategy of the Year Award! The MCA Awards represent the epitome of management consulting in the UK, and we are thrilled to have been recognised for such a prestigious category, especially when our fellow finalists were such strong contenders.
Our very own James Cooper was joined on stage by Clare Marchant, the UCAS chief executive, to jointly accept the award, a real testament to the collaborative approach undertaken throughout the project.
The awards were announced at a ceremony hosted by the BBC presenter Clive Myrie in front of over 700 guests from consultancy firms, client organisations, media and representatives from across government. It was wonderful to be able to share such an exciting evening with our clients and the outstanding consulting community brought together by the MCA.
James Cooper, client director at Gate One says: “The project to refresh the corporate strategy at UCAS was built upon the principle of working shoulder to shoulder with the senior leadership. A newly galvanised organisation has delivered tangible results off the back of the strategy work and is a great example of our mission to deliver meaningful change.”
Mark Warren, finance and operations director at Gate One says: “We’re excited to be recognised by the MCA and the wider industry as leaders in making strategy happen. At the awards ceremony last night, there was a real sense of collective pride and purpose across the room on the difference the industry makes and the positive impact to our clients.”
The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the body that represents management consultancy firms in the UK, to which Gate One became a member in 2017. The MCA Awards, which are now in their 22nd year, are the benchmark for quality within the consulting industry. They celebrate how clients and consultants work together to achieve the best results.
Our vision is to create a firm where you can do your best work and collectively deliver meaningful change for our clients.
