Katie Virdi joins Gate One with more than 20 years’ experience across enterprise transformation, digital and AI strategy, leadership advisory, organisational change and consulting. She has worked with senior executives across sectors to translate strategic ambition into practical, measurable business value. She began her career in consulting with KPMG, working across London, Hong Kong and Singapore. There, she trained as a Chartered Accountant and built deep experience in client advisory, transformation delivery and capability building across complex, global organisations.

“Katie joins Gate One at exactly the right time to lead and grow our People, Change and Culture practice, helping clients build the leadership, culture and capability needed to deliver complex transformation in an increasingly digital and AI-enabled world. We look forward to the impact she will have across the business, helping our clients build more adaptive organisations that are ready for the future of work and support leaders to turn digital and AI investment into practical and measurable outcomes,” said Ben Tye, Managing Partner at Gate One.

“I’m thrilled to join Gate One as I believe it has a distinctive role to play. My work has always focused on connecting strategy, people and technology for impact, and I believe Gate One’s human-centred approach is perfect for helping clients thrive in the AI era.

The real opportunity is to move beyond AI adoption to fundamentally rethink how work gets done, connecting people, AI agents, data, and governance to unlock growth.

I look forward to working with colleagues to create meaningful impact for our clients,” said Katie Virdi, People, Culture and Change Partner.

Previous to Gate One, Katie founded Evolve Ecosystem advising executive teams on AI strategy, operating model transformation and workforce capability. Before that, she spent eight years at GSK playing a central role in its large-scale digital transformation and a £200m demerger that created Haleon, leading transformation design, governance, workforce change and delivery across a complex global programme. As VP, CDTO Office & Digital Accelerator at GSK, Katie also acted as a strategic partner to the Chief Digital & Technology Officer, leading enterprise AI strategy, workforce transformation and organisational change initiatives at global scale, while reporting directly to executive leadership and the Board.

Outside of work, Katie coaches people through pivotal career and personal transitions. Not only is she a Board Trustee for ADHD Embrace, a London based charity supporting families, professionals and carers of young people with ADHD, but she also has an ADHD Coaching Diploma and is an ICF Accredited coach. Wellbeing is also important to Katie and she enjoys fitness and strength training and spends much of her spare time on the side of a rugby pitch supporting her two sons.

At Gate One, we tackle your toughest challenges and accelerate your boldest ambitions. Our mission is to deliver meaningful change.
