An American multinational cosmetics company wanted to build a global organisation design blueprint for a function within their global supply chain, bringing innovation into their manufacturing business model of the future.
Gate One were engaged to work with the client to design and facilitate a series of strategic working sessions, to discuss, define and agree the blueprint organisation design. To rapidly create the blueprint, the team combined the Gate One Accelerator tools with organisation design principles to lead a three day workshop series. This enabled the team to define the core design principles that would guide and lead the decision-making process, creating new organisational designs for each of the different teams within manufacturing, as well as the scope for “The Factory of the Future” at pace.
Following the workshop series, the manufacturing leadership team aligned on the design, planned for the required organisational changes needed and moved into the next phase of the initiative, with a robust implementation and change plan to maintain momentum.
