Mark is finance and operations director at Gate One, where he is responsible for all aspects of finance, strategy, pricing, IT and operational delivery. Mark has deep expertise in portfolio management, reporting and performance data analysis and visualisation. Mark was previously Head of Performance at Crossrail where he supported organisations to develop strategy, deliver projects and communicate results.
As head of marketing at Gate One, Layisha is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact, multi-channel marketing strategies that support the company’s business objectives, drive growth and increase brand awareness. She has experience working both in-house and agency-side with companies such as Barclays, the Big Four, Grant Thornton and Smith & Williamson.
Sonia leads our people and talent function and is passionate about supporting our diverse talent to thrive in their careers at Gate One. Sonia brings HR experience from public, private and charity sectors and even worked as a people change consultant herself for a few years. She describes her style of HR as pragmatic, empathetic and action-orientated. After having a family, Sonia set up her own HR consulting business supporting start-up businesses with their people strategy. In 2019 Sonia joined Gate One to support our inclusive growth agenda and has helped us weather the covid storm prioritising our team’s health and wellbeing.
Kirsty is finance and operations manager and part of the Executive Committee at Gate One. She manages all core aspects of finance including management accounts, financial reporting, invoices, client engagements, as well as governance, legal and regulatory compliance. Kirsty has worked within finance for consultancies for many years and for the Rugby Football Union.

As head of incubator, Kajal is responsible for driving Gate One’s flagship Incubator forward and supporting the fantastic entrepreneurs and businesses in the scheme. Kajal has seven years’ experience in a start-up enterprise, most recently as head of projects at Business Launchpad and prior to that as a business advisor with Virgin Start-Up. Her recent clients included a web platform for decluttering services, a Caribbean street food business and a luxury nut butter company. She is an entrepreneur herself, having previously set up and run a luxury shoe business in New York, which she grew to $300,000 pa turnover.
Jack recently joined Gate One as an analyst. He has over two years’ experience in M&A, focusing on project management, pre-deal transaction execution and strategic advisory. He has worked with clients across the technology, business services, industrials and consumer sectors. With extensive experience in process design, Jack has led the administration and project management of complex M&A mandates, building a demonstrable record of accountability to senior client stakeholders.

Mohammad has a strong track record in adaptive digital strategy work, helping clients tackle their most pressing transformation challenges in areas such as digital strategy, product and service design, digital operating models, data analytics and risk mitigation. Caro has worked extensively in both consulting and financial services. As Gate One’s people change lead, her professional focus is supporting organisations to design, activate and embed strategic transformation programmes, while applying creative approaches to facilitate and accelerate behaviour change. Caro is passionate about coaching and supporting client teams to develop their skills leading and embedding change.
Jess is a people focused consultant combining strategic thinking, creativity, and an empathetic approach to deliver improved outcomes for clients. She has experience supporting transformation programmes across multiple sectors, particularly in change management, project management and leadership accelerator event support. Internally, Jess has worked as Gate One’s internal communications lead, is part of the Accelerator and public sector teams and leads Gate One’s video content creation for internal and external engagement.

Most recently, James worked with a group CIO to redefine the organisation’s operating model, organisation design and governance framework.
Grace has extensive business transformation experience and a strong track record in strategic design and programme delivery in complex operational and asset-intensive environments. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, working closely with senior leaders in organisations including NHS England, NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Bank of England, BT, GE and HS2 Rail.
Clare is an experienced consultant who has worked across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle. Ben has a broad industry view of best practice in the electricity sector in particular, having worked across three of the major network operating companies. Ben is a specialist in the RIIO framework and is highly experienced in asset management, business strategy and performance improvement transformations.
