Gateaways
Our Gateaways are held every quarter. They are an opportunity for us to come together and discuss those topics that are important to us in an informative and collaborative way. They are also a chance to celebrate our successes and have some good, old-fashioned fun. Our summer Gateaway has the added bonus of a few days abroad, obviously to work, but also to sample some of the local hospitality and activities on offer.

Meet some of our team
If you’re exploring permanent opportunities with Gate One, you’ll probably get to know Mel or Anna. In the past Mel has recruited for agency and professional services firms alike. Gate One’s entrepreneurial culture suits Mel; growing up in NZ shaped her fighting spirit and ingenuity! Mel loves recruitment – everyone has their own story and can contribute to Gate One’s culture in different ways. She’s motivated by helping you discover if Gate One is the perfect move for you.
Sonia leads our people and talent function and is passionate about supporting our diverse talent to thrive in their careers at Gate One. Sonia brings HR experience from public, private and charity sectors and even worked as a people change consultant herself for a few years. She describes her style of HR as pragmatic, empathetic and action-orientated. After having a family, Sonia set up her own HR consulting business, supporting start-up businesses with their people strategy. In 2019, Sonia joined Gate One to support our inclusive growth agenda and has helped us weather the COVID storm, prioritising our team’s health and wellbeing.
Hannah has significant experience in life sciences and leads our US life sciences team. She has worked with global pharmaceutical companies to set their strategy, prepare for product launches, and deliver large-scale transformation to improve their customer experience. She is passionate about helping organizations optimize their strategy and operations to transform the lives of patients.
A founding partner of Gate One, Simon has built his career on leading and delivering change programmes at many of the UK’s leading businesses and government bodies. He has worked extensively in healthcare and pharmaceuticals and delivered strong year-on-year business development growth while managing engagement teams on high-profile M&A and transformation programmes.
