“In a period of significant global growth for Gate One, we’re pleased to announce the addition of Simon Holden as our new Partner. Simon’s experience in digital transformation, with considerable expertise across all our core industry sectors, will help us to achieve our ambition to realign and refocus our offering in this area,” said Ben Tye, Managing Partner, Gate One.
Simon brings over 20 years of experience as a commercial leader with a track record of driving growth and cross-functional teams, shaping strategic and transformational initiatives, and building collaboration with clients such as A&O Sherman, Conde Nast, and Lloyds Banking Group. He’s also an expert in executive strategy having been an active Board Member and Director at AND Digital, as well as a Non-Executive Director for Social Value Exchange (a role he still holds).
“Being part of the Havas network, becoming a Partner at Gate One is a very exciting career move for me where I can collaborate with a variety of agencies to deliver great solutions for clients.
Not only will it give me the opportunity to work with great digital and technology leaders and deliver meaningful impact and value, but I will also be part of a vibrant, ambitious, and growing company with a great culture,” said Simon.
Before AND Digital, Simon started his career with the British Army as part of the Royal Artillery. After five years of service, he began his consulting career with PA Consulting, managing the health sector implementation of ContactPoint, auditing the Olympic Security Directorate’s proposed 120 projects for 2012, and transitioning the Ministry of Justice over to new IT contracts. He later joined Qedis, which then became North Highland, supporting the significant growth of client accounts such as Royal Mail Group, Marks & Spencer, and Home Retail Group accounts.
Outside of work, Simon has an impressive tally of personal achievements including rowing the English Channel and completing both an Ironman and a Marathon des Sables (6 marathons in 6 days in the Sahara Desert raising over £10,800 for Cancer Research UK)! During his time in the British Army, he captained the winning Army team at the 2003 British Biathlon Skiing Championships, as well as representing the Combined Services, Army and Saracens at rugby up to U21 level.
At Gate One, we tackle your toughest challenges and accelerate your boldest ambitions. Our mission is to deliver meaningful change.
