Altogether more… you
Life at Gate One
We’re a consultancy with limitless possibilities. There’s no barrier to what you can achieve. Or to being yourself, as you collaborate with brilliant colleagues. There’s no hiding either: from doing the right thing for clients, each other and yourself.
Since being founded in 2013, we’ve built a business that makes it easy to be your best.
That means less bureaucracy. A flatter management structure. An interest in who you are as a person as well as what you can do. Plus, all the support you need to influence, learn, progress and make the most of your many talents.
There are interesting and meaningful projects, global clients and solid third-party partnerships where we can win bigger together. Our solutions are innovative and compelling. We’re agile and entrepreneurial too. A growth consultancy that loves doing things smarter.
Since 2019, we’re part of the global Havas group, one of the world’s largest communications companies, collaborating to embrace creativity and invention in everything we do.
But for us, the most important aspect of our culture is our engaging, supportive nature. Gate One is a product of everyone who works here.
Which is why we all share in each other’s success.
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
You’ll never have to look far to learn. Whether you want to specialise or broaden your expertise, we provide a wide range of opportunities to build your knowledge and skills.
Our offering includes professional accreditations and a suite of internal courses aligned to our core practice areas; Digital and Technology, Customer and Marketing, and Transformation Excellence. Alongside this, we support development in core consulting capabilities, from understanding our methodologies to strengthening business development, communication, and broader professional skills.
We believe leadership starts early in consulting environments. Our externally delivered Pathway to Leadership programme begins at Senior Consultant level, while our Senior Leadership Team benefits from programmes led by facilitators with leading academic and business school backgrounds.
All of this is complemented by access to Havas University – our global e-learning platform – alongside a wide range of additional training through the Havas network.
”“Huge thank you to Janice O’Neill for coordinating, and to our facilitator Fitz for leading engaging & interactive sessions - involving magic carpets, blindfolds, card towers, marshmallows and more. We explored our Emergenetics profiles that capture our preferred thinking styles (Structured/ analytical/ social/ conceptual) and how they shape the way we approach leadership and team dynamics.”

”The 2023 summer Gateaway was an incredible experience. It was such a great opportunity to connect with people and go on an adventure both as an organisation and individually.
GATEAWAYS
Our regular Gateaways see everyone come together to celebrate successes, explore new ideas and work on our business plan. There are workshops, industry speakers and brainstorms, plus personal development and wellbeing sessions. It’s also a great opportunity to connect and reconnect with colleagues.
They’re a lot of fun too. Your first couple of events will be the perfect opportunity to get to know your colleagues. After that, they’re a wonderful excuse to deepen connections across the business.
Our annual Gateaway is a bigger event that usually involves a two or three-night stay and the opportunity to collaborate and build connection with our global teams at the same time.
CREATIVITY AND ENTREPRENEURIALISM
Using the Gate One incubator programme as a training tool is inherently innovative. By creating, testing and developing new business concepts, our teams build practical creativity and innovation skills that strengthen their ability to identify opportunities for clients.
”Entrepreneurial spirit is woven into the fabric of the organisation. Everyone, whatever their grade, is encouraged to help grow the business. And our Business Development bonus scheme rewards new and existing client account growth.

INSPIRATIONAL LOCATIONS
We’re really lucky to have some inspirational workspaces – in terms of the resources on hand, and neighbourhoods that excite us.
In London, our collaborative space in Havas Village London means we have a wealth of creative partners one flight of steps away, not to mention perks like free breakfasts, subsidised lunches, Thursday bar nights and convenient showers and bike racks. All in one of the city’s most diverse and vibrant business districts.
In New York, we work out of a fantastic collaborative Havas space with great wellbeing features and rooftop workspaces. We sit right next to the Empire State Building and just a five-minute walk to Bryant Park.
In Dublin, our shared Havas space sits between the cosmopolitan city-suburb of Portobello – known for brunching by the canal – and lively Temple Bar, home to cobbled streets and live music.
In Paris, we work out of the Havas office in Puteax – alongside leading creative partners and with all kinds of wellbeing features and inspirational events close-to-hand.
In Manchester, we work out of the Havas building in the lively Oxford Road Corridor Innovation district, to support businesses in the North shape strategy and deliver their transformation ambitions.
In Bangalore, we operate out of a collaborative space in the prestigious Divyasree Technopolis complex, a thriving hub of innovation and technology surrounded by world class facilities and amenities.
SUPPORT FROM ALL ANGLES
When it comes to growing and progressing, every base is covered.
A ‘buddy’ will guide you through your first 90 days. We’ll also assign you a Performance and Development Lead (PDL)) – a more senior colleague who’ll help you set out twelve-month roadmaps that supports your career goals.
There’s a forum to voice your own ideas and opinions in monthly feedback sessions with representatives from our Employee Engagement Network – as well as through our internal employee communications platform, Workvivo.
”In terms of your personal success, there’s such a great support system here. Anyone will help you out. No one’s out for themselves.
Client Director
”Leading the Race and Culture ERG at Gate One has shown me how committed our people are to building an inclusive, open and high performing culture. While we’re on a journey and don’t always get it right, DEI isn’t about box ticking here, instead it’s about listening, learning from each other and raising our collective awareness so that we can be more inclusive in everything we do. Whether internally or working with clients, we strive to create an environment where different backgrounds and perspectives are valued and the different journeys people have taken to get here today are acknowledged and appreciated.

INSPIRATIONALLY DIVERSE
We don’t just acknowledge the fact we’re all different. We celebrate it company-wide, particularly through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), across four groups: Pride, Gender Equity, Race and Culture and Disability and Neurodiversity.
Collaborating with Havas, we share an ambition to be more representative in terms of our diversity. By the end of 2026 we have set a target to be >10% more diverse (in terms of gender and underrepresented racial groups) than we were in December 2025 and that includes our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). By the end of our current 3-year strategy (December 2028), our target is that 50% of the firm are women (including our SLT), >15% of the firm are from underrepresented racial groups (including SLT). Finally, there is >10% representation across the firm (including SLT) from other underrepresented groups (e.g. sexual orientation, disability, faith etc.)
