Gate One, the digital and business transformation consultancy, is pleased to announce a new collaboration agreement with world-leading London College of Fashion (LCF), University of the Arts London (UAL).

As a first step, Gate One has supported LCF’s landmark new course MSc Fashion Forecasting and Analytics. The course combines fashion business expertise with machine learning, forecasting and statistical data analysis, and aims to enhance strategic decision-making using quantitative methods. Gate One has worked with LCF to create industry forecasting project briefs based on real industry macro-challenges.

The collaboration will also see a Gate One representative join LCF’s new Fashion Business School Industry Advisory Panel, which is expected to launch early next year. The panel will be made up of experienced professionals from across industry, with the purpose of providing an external perspective on the business school’s strategy and ways of working.

Beyond this, Gate One and LCF have formed a joint planning group to prioritise and develop further areas of collaboration.

As part of the Havas Group, one of the world’s largest communications groups, Gate One is able to draw on a worldwide network of digital, customer and communications capabilities to deliver greater value and impact to the new collaboration with LCF. Gate One and LCF’s aim is to provide faculty and students with the skills needed to thrive in the fast-evolving fashion and creative industries, positioning them to influence its future.

Linda Roberts, director of graduate futures, business and innovation at LCF, said: “At London College of Fashion, UAL, fashion truly does shape lives – the lives of our students, staff and stakeholders. We are firmly committed to engaging with organisations such as Gate One to bring continuous insight and innovation to our industry.”

Brian Darby, retail and consumer business lead at Gate One, said: “We fully recognise that London College of Fashion, UAL, provides us with an opportunity not just to teach but also to learn from emerging leaders in the fashion and creative industries. It is vital that these individuals, as well as the industry at large, can adapt to the changing needs of people and planet. We look forward to sharing our experiences in business and digital transformation leadership to help deliver meaningful change for the fashion industry.”
